Junior IT Service Desk Officer Workplace Support

About the role

Join Deloitte’s internal IT service desk, CheckPoint, as a Junior IT Service Desk Officer – Workplace Support. Based in Zaventem, you will be the first point of contact for employees, delivering friendly, face‑to‑face assistance and ensuring a smooth technology experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line technical support from the physical desk in Zaventem, handling hardware and software issues.
• Maintain high‑quality customer service and follow service‑management principles.
• Take ownership of user problems, proactively resolving incidents.
• Log, update, and follow up tickets accurately in the ITSM tool.
• Assist users with equipment usage, offering training and advice.
• Support onboarding and off‑boarding activities, preparing and distributing IT equipment.
• Escalate complex calls to the appropriate IT support group.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in an IT Service Desk environment.
• Fluent in English, Dutch and French.
• Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.
• Strong knowledge of current Microsoft operating systems.
• Interest in ITIL processes and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills and a team‑oriented attitude.
• Willingness to work fully onsite in Zaventem.
