Freelance AI Trainer – Data Annotation

About the role

Join Toloka as a freelance AI Trainer to help improve generative artificial intelligence. You will work remotely on project‑based tasks, annotating various types of data to train AI models. This flexible role fits around your primary professional or academic commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Review and annotate data (text, images, video) according to project guidelines.
• Label or classify content to help train generative AI models.
• Identify and flag factually incorrect, sensitive, inappropriate or unclear material.
• Participate in project‑based tasks that become available when AI projects are active.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• At least 1 year of professional experience.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1 or higher), both written and spoken.
• Strong logical thinking, fact‑checking and reasoning abilities.
• High attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.
• Good communication skills and willingness to ask clarifying questions.
• Genuine interest in technology and artificial intelligence.
