Young Graduate Agentic AI Engineer – Software & Platform

About the role

Accenture is seeking a recent graduate to join its Software & Platform Engineering team as an Agentic AI Engineer. You will help design, build, and deliver AI‑driven assistants and autonomous workflows that solve real business challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements and translate them into agentic AI use‑cases such as copilots, workflow agents, and support automation.
• Design and implement multi‑step agent workflows, including planning, tool‑calling, routing, and guardrails.
• Develop LLM‑powered components in Python using modern generative AI frameworks.
• Integrate agents with enterprise APIs, databases, knowledge bases, and ticketing systems while ensuring secure access and traceability.
• Create test cases, evaluate outputs, and define acceptance criteria for accuracy, safety, latency and cost.
• Apply responsible AI and security‑by‑design principles, supporting privacy and compliance.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers and DevOps to embed AI solutions into CI/CD pipelines.
• Track progress in Jira or Azure DevOps and contribute reusable assets such as prompt libraries and reference architectures.

Required profile

• Recent graduate (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with a passion for AI and automation.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.

Required skills

• Python programming
• Experience with generative AI/LLM frameworks
• API integration and database connectivity
• Use of Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tools
• Jira or comparable agile project management tools
• Prompt engineering and retrieval‑augmented generation techniques
