Team Leader – KYC / AML

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to manage a group of KYC/AML analysts for a financial services client. In this role you will ensure regulatory compliance, optimise onboarding processes and maintain high‑quality monitoring of high‑risk clients.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, coach and allocate tasks for a team of KYC/AML analysts.
• Oversee client onboarding, periodic reviews and high‑risk monitoring to ensure compliance with KYC/AML regulations.
• Identify and escalate potential risks or suspicious activity patterns.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of AML regulations and implement process improvements.
• Develop and enforce operational procedures, workflows and documentation.
• Produce reports and dashboards on compliance status, risk exposure and team performance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to streamline client onboarding and monitoring processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in KYC/AML operations and regulatory compliance.
• Strong team leadership and people‑management experience.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills.
• Solution‑oriented, able to work under pressure and manage stakeholders.
• Team player with a coaching and servant‑leader mindset.
• Fluent English; French or Dutch knowledge is a plus.
