Senior Finance Consultant in Insurance

About the role

PwC is looking for a Senior Finance Consultant to join its Financial Services Governance, Risk & Compliance team within Assurance. You will work with leading insurers in Belgium and internationally, helping them navigate regulatory change, digital transformation and evolving client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver risk, regulatory and transformation projects for insurance companies.
• Analyse regulatory developments and assess their impact on governance, processes, systems and operating models.
• Support the design and implementation of target operating models and process improvements.
• Contribute to transformation initiatives by leveraging data, AI and innovative technologies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to deliver structured, high‑quality solutions.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience in consulting, audit or the insurance industry (claims, operations, risk or finance).
• Proven ability to own workstreams and deliver high‑quality, structured outcomes.
• Strong analytical skills with the capacity to translate complex topics into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
• Confident client engagement and relationship‑building skills.
• Effective teamwork, knowledge sharing and an inclusive attitude.
• Learning mindset with a focus on risk, regulation and transformation topics.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Fluent in Dutch and/or French, with full professional proficiency in English.
