Senior Finance Analyst – Currency Management

About the role

The Currency Management COE supports J&J Hospital MedTech by analysing the impact of foreign‑exchange fluctuations on financial results and executing hedging activities. As a Senior Finance Analyst you will own the transactional currency impact forecasting, reporting and analysis, partnering with finance, treasury and supply‑chain teams across multiple regions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accurate transactional currency forecasts for budgeting, forecasting and actuals across the MedTech supply chain.
• Deliver comprehensive P&L analyses of currency impacts, highlighting variances, trends and risks.
• Prepare and present management decks with driver‑based commentaries for senior leadership.
• Collaborate with exposure managers, FP&A, Group Finance, Treasury and other COEs to enhance understanding of currency effects.
• Co‑lead the transition from TM1 FX to SigniFX tools and support related change management.
• Identify and implement process improvements to simplify and standardise currency reporting.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance or Economics with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong finance, accounting and business insight; MBA, CPA or CMA preferred.
• Good grasp of hedging principles, hedge accounting and inventory accounting.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence senior leaders.
• Proven ability to work independently in a dynamic, matrixed environment.

• Microsoft Office (intermediate to advanced).
• TM1 FX reporting tool.
• SigniFX currency management platform.
