Senior Finance & Accounting Consultant

About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior Finance & Accounting Consultant to join its Assurance Capital Markets and Accounting Advisory (CMAAS) team in Brussels. You will work on complex IFRS and capital‑markets projects, helping international clients navigate financial reporting, governance and transaction challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advisory services on IFRS accounting and reporting, especially during major transactions such as deals and capital raisings.
• Guide clients through project phases, including project management support, internal communication, technical accounting advice, in‑house training and hands‑on assistance with IFRS reporting preparation.
• Collaborate with PwC colleagues from transactions, valuation, tax, legal, actuarial and other departments to deliver integrated solutions.
• Participate in business development initiatives and contribute to thought leadership within the team.
• Travel as needed to work on international engagements and cooperate with colleagues abroad.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in (Applied) Economics, Finance, Law or a comparable field.
• 2‑5 years of experience in accounting or auditing, with solid knowledge of Belgian GAAP, IFRS and capital‑markets reporting.
• Strong technical accounting expertise and a keen interest in tackling complex financial reporting challenges.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
