Responsable Assurance Qualité – Industrie Alimentaire

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Quality Assurance Manager to join a leading food‑industry client. The role will oversee the quality department, ensuring compliance with international standards and continuous improvement of processes.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and coordinate the daily operations of the quality department.
• Update, organise and improve quality documentation such as procedures and records.
• Manage technical datasheets for customers and suppliers.
• Validate and approve product specifications.
• Implement, maintain and enhance quality systems aligned with IFS, BRC and other relevant standards.
• Conduct internal audits and drive corrective actions.
• Develop, maintain and optimise HACCP plans.
• Perform risk analyses covering allergens, contaminants and related hazards.
• Lead specific projects on allergen management, process optimisation and other quality initiatives.

Required profile

• Scientific background in food science, bio‑engineering, quality or a related field.
• Initial experience in quality assurance is a plus.
• Fluent in French and English; B2 level in Dutch.
• Willingness to travel flexibly within Wallonia and Brussels.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IFS standards.
• Knowledge of BRC standards.
• Proficiency with HACCP methodology.
• Experience conducting risk analysis for allergens and contaminants.
• Ability to perform internal audits and manage corrective actions.
