Operator (Production & Coaching)

About the role

The Operator / Coach works on the production floor, combining technical expertise with coaching duties to ensure safe, high‑quality output. Reporting to the team leader and receiving functional guidance from the area coach, the role balances hands‑on manufacturing tasks with continuous improvement and safety leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Run production lines, fill lines and operate mixers.
• Transport materials using forklift and reach trucks.
• Start‑up equipment, control processes and manage shift handovers.
• Guide change‑overs and focus on speed and efficiency.
• Report anomalies, incidents and near‑misses to the coach.
• Perform minor technical maintenance and lead TPM activities.
• Apply standard work methods for safety, quality, service and productivity.
• Maintain 5S, conduct inspections and ensure a tidy workplace.
• Identify unsafe situations, conduct BBS observations and enforce safety rules.
• Train new employees, support internal safety training and assist during emergencies.

Required profile

• A2 level language proficiency or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience as an operator or similar role, preferably in the chemical industry.
• Knowledge of various production processes and chemical products.
• Forklift and reach‑truck certification.
• Ability to work in a team, flexible mindset and strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to work in a changing organization and a high safety attitude.
