Medical Education Associate – Breast Cancer (Onco Nurse)

About the role

This position is designed for a breast oncology nurse or an onco‑coach who wishes to transition into the pharmaceutical industry. As a Medical Education Associate for Breast Cancer, you will split your time between field work in specialised breast clinics and office or home‑based activities, supporting healthcare professionals in the optimal use of an oral anti‑cancer treatment.

Key responsibilities

• Organise, present and evaluate educational meetings with physicians and nurses to improve breast cancer patient management.
• Provide training sessions for oncology nurses and coordinate workshop activities.
• Respond to nurses’ queries regarding treatment side‑effects and patient management.
• Participate in independent scientific meetings aimed at oncology nursing staff.
• Assess patient management needs and contribute to the development of educational materials.
• Collaborate with medical, marketing teams and Oncology Medical Representatives to create resources that promote proper medication use.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field such as Nursing, Psychology or related discipline.
• Experience managing breast cancer patients in a hospital setting or prior experience in medical education/oncology patient engagement.
• Ability to work independently, results‑driven and service‑oriented.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
• Fluent in Dutch and/or French with a good command of English.

Required skills

• Practical knowledge of MS Office.
