About the role
We are looking for an IT Support Specialist (Level 1 & 2) to join the local IT team of an international industrial group. The role combines first‑line user assistance with hands‑on system and infrastructure maintenance, ensuring smooth operation of both production and office environments.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for hardware, software and network incidents (Level 1).
- Diagnose, resolve and document tickets using the internal ticketing system.
- Install, configure and maintain workstations, laptops and peripherals.
- Manage user accounts, permissions and onboarding/off‑boarding processes in Active Directory.
- Monitor and maintain servers, network devices and other IT systems (Level 2).
- Perform system updates, patches, backups and security checks.
- Participate in IT projects and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- Degree in IT or equivalent practical experience.
- Previous experience in a combined L1/L2 support or system‑administration role.
- Fluent English; French or Dutch is a plus.
Required skills
- Windows client and server environments.
- Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.
- Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN).
