Interim EMEA Tax Manager – Freelance (5‑6 months)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Interim EMEA Tax Manager on a freelance basis to support a multinational industrial group operating across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Reporting to the Group Tax Director, you will lead tax compliance, reporting and advisory activities for the EMEA region while contributing to strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist local finance teams with income tax reporting packages and current/deferred tax provisions under IFRS IAS 12 and local GAAP.
• Coordinate tax reporting with global tax and financial control teams to ensure accuracy.
• Implement standardized tax processes and monitor tax positions in line with global policies.
• Develop and execute tax‑efficient structures, support M&A due diligence and post‑acquisition integration.
• Provide practical corporate tax advice, ensure timely filings and manage tax audits.
• Identify and mitigate tax risks, track legislative changes and assess their impact.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Tax Law, Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of corporate tax experience in a Big Four, law firm or multinational environment.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills in English; French or German a plus.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced, international setting and collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
