HR Payroll Officer – Dutch Speaking

About the role

We are looking for a Dutch‑speaking HR Payroll Officer to join BASF’s Belgium payroll team. You will be responsible for processing payroll for Belgian employees and ensuring all related HR processes run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and execute the monthly payroll in SAP HR and other HR systems.
• Maintain and improve administrative HR processes, ensuring compliance with social security, tax and labour regulations.
• Collaborate with local HR Business Partners in Belgium, the internal service team in Berlin and external technical providers.
• Participate in internal projects and share best practices across the EMEA HR community.
• Document payroll processes and relevant regulations to uphold high‑quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Proficient in Excel and comfortable working with IT systems.
• Analytical, organized and able to meet deadlines.
• Interest in HR operations and payroll processes.
• First experience with employee life‑cycle maintenance in SAP HR is a plus.
• Experience with knowledge‑management processes in ServiceNow is a plus.
