Governance Risk & Compliance Internship – Financial Services

About the role

Join PwC’s Assurance team in Brussels as a Governance, Risk and Compliance intern focused on financial services. You will support audit and consulting engagements, helping clients achieve better governance, transparency and accountability.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in audit engagements and consulting projects across insurance, pension funds and other sectors.
• Work on topics such as Solvency II, IFRS 17, economic capital, risk‑management frameworks and financial modelling.
• Utilise cutting‑edge technologies, including AI and big‑data tools, to analyse data and support decision‑making.
• Prepare documentation and reports that contribute to clients’ governance and compliance objectives.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a Master’s (or PhD) program in Actuarial Sciences, applied mathematics, economics, quantitative finance, civil engineering, business engineering or a related field.
• Team‑player with initiative, strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.
• Fluent in Dutch and/or French and English.
