Functional Tester – Payroll & Reward (Belgium)

About the role

As a Functional Tester within SD Worx's Payroll & Reward BE Tribe, you will ensure the quality, reliability and regulatory compliance of software solutions for the Belgian payroll market. You will combine your payroll expertise with testing techniques to validate new functionalities and maintain existing ones.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with functional analysts, developers and payroll experts to understand requirements and deliver high‑quality payroll software.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand‑ups, sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Review business requirements and payroll processes to define expected behaviour.
• Execute functional, regression and end‑to‑end testing on P250 and SME applications.
• Verify that payroll calculations, business rules and legal requirements are correctly implemented.
• Analyse test results, investigate anomalies and document issues until resolution.
• Maintain up‑to‑date testing documentation and share knowledge within the team.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of Belgian payroll processes and legislation.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to analyse complex test outcomes.
• Good communication skills to work with cross‑functional teams.
