Dispatch Agent – Evening Shifts

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Dispatch Agent to join FedEx’s station in Machelen. The role focuses on coordinating daily courier schedules, monitoring delivery cycles and supporting drivers to meet operational goals during evening shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare courier schedules and routes, ensuring efficient distribution of work.
• Monitor the daily delivery cycle, update systems with accurate pick‑up and delivery information.
• Provide support to couriers, resolve issues and communicate with customers when additional information is needed.
• Report incidents, compile productivity and performance reports for station management.
• Lead briefings, give clear instructions on tools such as scanners and operational workflows.

Required profile

• Experience coordinating teams in a busy transport or dispatch environment (advantageous).
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and problem‑solving orientation.
• Ability to manage own and team’s time effectively under pressure.
• Good geographical knowledge of the operational area.
• Excellent communication skills in French, Dutch and English.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office and general PC applications.
