Digital Specialist – Analytical Development

About the role

We are looking for a Digital Specialist – Analytical Development to support a large pharmaceutical organisation in a major digital transformation of its Analytical Development Sciences function. The role bridges laboratory scientists, IT and digital teams to deliver structured, traceable, regulatory‑ready analytical data across GSP and GMP environments.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between analytical development scientists, quality, IT and digital teams.
• Analyse current laboratory processes and data flows and perform end‑to‑end process and data mapping.
• Translate scientific and business processes into structured digital data requirements.
• Challenge IT and digital solutions from a business and user perspective.
• Ensure compliance by design (GxP, ALCOA+).
• Support deployment of digital tools and assist end users.
• Facilitate stakeholder discussions and drive pragmatic, aligned solutions.

Required profile

• 3–8 years of professional experience in data mapping, data flow design, business analysis or data analysis.
• Strong understanding of GxP environments and ALCOA+ principles.
• Experience working at the interface between business and IT.
• Fluent English (mandatory).

Required skills

• Process mapping and data flow design.
• Regulatory‑driven digital solutions for GxP environments.
• Familiarity with ELN systems (e.g., IDBS) and LIMS (e.g., LabWare).
• Experience with Power BI and data governance concepts.
