Control Manager

About the role

As a Control Manager at AB InBev, you will be responsible for the quality, accuracy and compliance of financial reporting for the Belgian business. Acting as Country Controller, you will own the end‑to‑end reporting and control processes, working closely with Finance, Accounting, Business teams, the Business Service Center and external auditors.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure accurate monthly, quarterly and year‑end financial reporting, covering P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and CAPEX.
• Coordinate the month‑end and year‑end closing process, review journal entries and provide financial analysis.
• Oversee balance‑sheet reconciliations, provisions, pensions and shared‑base payments in line with BEGAAP and IFRS.
• Act as the primary finance contact for internal stakeholders and external auditors, driving issue resolution and audit remediation.
• Lead finance projects to strengthen controls, standardise processes and improve accounting procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting, controlling, audit or financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of BEGAAP, IFRS and internal control frameworks.
• Analytical, proactive and comfortable influencing cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Fluent in English and Dutch and/or French.
