Senior Mobile Developer (React Native) – Freelance

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Mobile Developer to join a public‑sector digital team on a freelance basis. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of React Native applications, from design and development to testing, deployment and ongoing support.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain native and cross‑platform mobile apps using React Native for Android and iOS.
• Design, build, test and publish mobile applications, ensuring compliance with platform guidelines.
• Implement automated testing strategies and maintain testing frameworks.
• Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines with Azure Pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional Agile/Scrum teams, participating in code reviews and sprint planning.
• Troubleshoot, debug and optimise app performance.
• Support release management and production deployments.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience developing mobile applications for Android and/or iOS.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with React Native.
• Proficiency in Dutch at CEFR C2 level (spoken and written).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
