Senior Consultant - Transformation

About the role

AION Consulting is seeking a Senior Consultant – Transformation to support large‑scale change programmes for industrial clients, public entities and startups. You will work within a decentralized, self‑organising structure, helping to align project management practices across complex, multi‑stakeholder initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Support governance and execution of change, digitalisation and new‑tool implementation programmes.
• Define, implement and promote project management methodologies such as Prince2, PMBOK and Agile.
• Establish standards for planning, execution, monitoring and reporting.
• Select, configure and manage tools like Microsoft Project and related ecosystems.
• Maintain project documentation (plans, risk registers, decision logs, governance materials) ensuring quality and accessibility.
• Collect, analyse and report progress, budget, milestones and KPIs to support decision‑making.
• Assist with resource planning, capacity tracking and conflict resolution.
• Identify risks, define mitigation actions and contribute to risk management.
• Structure stakeholder communication strategies and ensure alignment across public entities, IT partners and internal teams.

Required profile

• Entrepreneurial, structured and autonomous with strong interpersonal skills.
• Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, IT or a related field.
• 3–4+ years of experience in PMO, project management or consulting, preferably in transformation programmes.
• Proven ability to operate in complex stakeholder environments.
• Fluent in Dutch (C2), English and professional French (B1/B2).
