About the role
Sonaar, a VC‑backed startup transforming public procurement, is looking for a Sales Lead to drive commercial growth in Belgium. You will own the end‑to‑end sales process while building and mentoring a junior business‑development team.
Key responsibilities
- Lead Sonaar’s commercial development in Belgium and own revenue outcomes.
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of 4–5 junior business developers.
- Execute the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing, and coach the team through their pipelines.
- Continuously refine the sales playbook and integrate AI‑driven tools to improve efficiency.
- Contribute to go‑to‑market strategy, including pricing, positioning, and product direction.
- Become a recognized voice in Belgium’s public‑procurement sector.
Required profile
- 4–5 years of B2B SaaS sales experience, preferably in a startup or scale‑up.
- Proven ability to build high‑performing sales teams and drive growth.
- Hands‑on mindset with the capacity to see the bigger picture.
- Fast learner eager to make an impact from day one.
- Bilingual in French and Dutch.
