About the role
The Donor Engagement Intern will support the Global Awards Management Unit (AMU) in strengthening relationships with donors and managing grant processes. This role offers a unique opportunity to work within a leading humanitarian organization, gaining hands‑on experience in fundraising, donor stewardship, and grant administration across multiple international offices.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in preparing donor communications, reports, and acknowledgment letters.
- Support the tracking and reporting of grant allocations and outcomes.
- Help maintain donor databases and ensure data accuracy.
- Coordinate with AMU teams in New York, London, Berlin, and other locations to align donor engagement activities.
- Participate in research on donor trends and potential funding opportunities.
Required profile
- Current university student or recent graduate interested in nonprofit fundraising or international development.
- Strong written communication skills in English.
- Detail‑oriented with an ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Motivation to work in a fast‑paced, mission‑driven environment.
