Business Development Manager - Restaurant Partnerships

About the role

Deliveroo, now part of DoorDash, is looking for a Dutch-speaking, highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Associate to join its expanding team in Belgium. You will drive growth by identifying, engaging and onboarding new restaurant and food business partners (including supermarkets, butchers, bakeries) onto the Deliveroo platform, focusing on Antwerp, Bruges and Ghent.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect potential restaurant and food business partners within your assigned territory.
• Reach out by phone, email and in-person meetings to introduce Deliveroo and its benefits.
• Present the value proposition clearly and address each business's specific needs and concerns.
• Manage the full sales cycle from first contact to onboarding of new partners.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads.
• Negotiate partnership terms and agreements.
• Work with internal teams such as Onboarding and Account Management to ensure a smooth launch.
• Stay up to date on market trends, competitor activity and the local food and beverage landscape.
• Meet and exceed targets for new partner acquisition and keep accurate records in CRM systems.

Required profile

• Native Dutch speaker is essential; fluency in English is required.
• Proficiency in French is a strong plus but not essential.
• Proven sales experience is a significant advantage.
• A genuine passion for food and the restaurant/grocery industry.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally as needed.
